In Behalf of God ..

Playing God, is one of the most irritating behaviors and commonly found in the middle east. Although Islam is a religion believes in the existence of only god in control with the ultimate power, yet many people speak in his name to justify what are they saying. People interested in self believe that saying “please” at the end of a sentence increase the chance of getting what has been asked for, also they said that giving a reason regardless of its nature help receiver to justify the request. Likewise adding god in whatever you do in the middle east make it acceptable and justified.

Your thoughts are the architect of your destiny
David O. Mckay

One very obvious example of that, when a person does something wrong, he would probably say that what happened is god’s wish. In a worse situation, if someone cased you a trouble, or but you in position that you are losing because of his own decision, he would say its maybe the god’s wanted this to be happened and he has no control on god, moreover he would require you to accept that and stop arguing about it.  And people tend to go with this because they believe in destiny and many of them fail to put a line between destiny and wrong judgments and attitudes.

Hence, people tend in developing their speeches in this region to prove that its come along with god welling. which Ironically would falsely indicate that most of people are just as smart and as good as god ! Ha?

This behavior might be found also in political- sociological level, when leaders of society try to be the men in charge. they would use god to prove that they are whom deserve the political and social authority. they, well, lets say some of them might manipulate the people by translating god’s saying with his own way and to his favor. Therefore Islamic and radical parties usually win in any political competition in this region and thats why democracy is not the best solution for middle east. ( Lebanon Iraq and currently Egypt and maybe Tunis are great examples.

At this point, its worth to mention that many corrupted  politician take their fake legitimacy from similar strategy, but speaking in behalf of someone else,  the people. They would claim that they are speaking on behalf of people, and they demanding people’s demands not their own. Those, on their side are playing angels! whom would do anything for the people for no return. Who would do that these days?

And Its not difficult, you only have to replace “I” with “people” while you talk and you would have the attention and credibility you need. Alwefaq, a major opposition party in Bahrain, recreated the revolution by promoting its on revolutionary  slogan “People demand to reform the regime” instead of “people demand to replace the regime” which were used in the most countries participated in Arab spring. Lately their representative, former PM Dr.Jassim Hussain met auto sports journalists in Bahrain international circuit and climbed that the people are happy and welcoming the F1 race and despite of the fact that people are protesting, tweeting, forming lobbies and interest groups all over the world everyday against the F1. Jassim’s claims went on media in the name of people.

“I can tell you that most people in Bahrain are happy and pleased that F1 is back in Bahrain, given its effects on the economy and the social aspects of it,” said Husain, who resigned in protest during last year’s anti-government demonstrations.

Speaking on the name of God or the people is a total shame, its only means that the speaker has no courage to speak for himself.

On #9March #Bahrain still on the news !

Shaik Issa Qassim, considered as the most influential shiite leader asked every capable to participate in what he called "March of People" on March 9

the official theme and poster of the march organized by six opposition political communities "parities" which had the full support of many public figures

The very peaceful island in Bahrain is almost unknown. Maybe because a peaceful and tiny island that has nothing to do with the political or armed fights around the globe matters a lot to be on the vey valuable time of live on air news time.

BUT! Make no mistake, this doesn’t mean that it has very strategical geographical location, well developed and has it significance on in the gulf area. Yes maybe its not rich as Kuwait or Qatar. well known as Dubai or big as Saudi. but the foundations, infrastructure, and the culture qualified it to be the pointer hub of regions economic and business operations. A very far time ago before Qatar and Dubai raise up.

People of Bahrain took a pointer step again, when they were the first and the only people of the gulf citizens tried to change the structure of their regime, just like what the Tunisians, Egyptians, and people of Libya already established. Its about time that the shape of the third world changes, and if the Bahrainis succeeded, the history, indeed, will record that to them. Therefore Bahrain now is on the map of the political and armed fights, it actually, officially, has the both of them since last February .. but is it on the news now ?

Well, the Saudis invested very well to mute Bahrain. to keep it away from the world’s sight.

Old man pushing his wife on the wheelchair at the march. many considered the Qassim's invite for "any capable" in his speech after Friday prayers as a religious duty which initiated a noticeable debate

because, they consider it their backyard and don’t want anybody to mess with it, so again no matter how Bahrainis depressedly  tried to be on the news they will fail, as it is already dominated by the Saudis. Regardless of the shiites sponsored channels which in this case, to be honest achieve nothing. It could be described as a man talking to himself, which make absolutely no sense.

However, yet from time to time Bahrainis come achievements that is hard for news corporations to miss, specially those who had a reputation and respect themselves to some extent, where they, for example, shyly report the hundreds of thousands were marching on March 9, 2012. As the march was a must cover event. Its indeed, one of the points were the locals on this island impress the world with their strength and determination.

Of course, on Internal and very specific level there are many to say and argue about. The religious dynamo of it, the intention of the “officially registered” political party, the fact that its not on a main highway but in a main road inside “almost only” residential areas, and its in fact establish nothing more of what has been established already.  However, from a wider prospective, what you can see is a mass population agreed that the current regime in its current from is highly corrupted. Moreover, and which is more important that the people after one year of suffering still up to their fight toward goals .. and the mentioned march was the prove.
